The entire trip was super enjoyable, fun, tiring, and unforfuckinggetable lah. excellent "holiday," really. didn't take as many photos as i wanted to but oh well. i'll leave you all with what i have la. dunno why the quality's so fucked up. ah well, such is life. you boys and girls enjoy. point and laugh if you must. ha!

hello, blogspot. The past couple of days have been very weird. Skipped school for a couple days to take my o levels. Again. heh. I think I can actually do reasonably well for math this time round, not so sure about physics/chem though. oh well. Such is life!

Yes, if you don't already know, i've actually gotten rid of the old 4 inch afro. Fully shaved. It was a dare and i felt pretty spontaneous at the moment. I could have used a change, a laugh, something drastic at that point in time. So i agreed, and I got a free haircut from dearest Martin. Been getting pretty conflicting views, comments and opinions thrown at me about the "new look." Some say I actually look better, some say they liked the afro. Oh well. Such is life!

i've been hanging with martin alot, cause of our places of residence being within the close proximity of each other. After sufficient studying for the day, we'd meet up to talk about how life is such, and such is life.
he is such an idiot. i missed that idiot. we should be doing this more. then we can truly go ahead and say "SUCH IS LIFE!"

my "after o's" isnt gonna be the same as everyone else's. i'll be finishing up my second last module at school, moving on to the last one, where i have my final project, which is such a killer. since i wanna do damn well, im putting in alot of effort on this. im still not sure of where i want to further my studies next year (yes, im doing a one year diploma.) i'm looking at ngee ann's film sound and video, or maybe try for lasalle's music and audio tech again. using this diploma.

I'll be going to KL from the 14th to the 18th of November with ATC.
I'm not sessioning for them or whatever, i might be playing random instruments (im bringing my triangle and sleigh bells!)but I'm just basically being their sound guy/roadie/extra hahaha !

This means that i'll be missing Lime Sonic Bang. but whatever la, they have almost all the same bands. it should be fun tho, they have Stars Dont Fall coming down. But oh well. Such is life. This time round, I choose the holiday.
My end-of-year is gonna be pretty packed, then. studies, the final project, trella, gigs, EP production, this and that. So im really looking forward to this, it's gonna be a real holiday. like finally, a break. I can't say i've really been working my ass off for the entire year, but yes, i have been working hard. both at school and for the two o level subjects. yep. such is life.

i can't wait for the end of the year, despite its busy schedule. i'm even doing a pnw session. i havent played guitar for a praise session in ages. so i guess this would be good spiritual nourishment. mmhmm!
Big Ear Records is in the making, still. Shhh, still very underground, cause we haven't done much! Still saving up for recording equipment. Read Avery's blog for updates on that.
Trella's in the pre production stage of our EP. i promise you, its gonna be delayed. it's not like we're in a rush anyway. Plans are still pretty rubber, cause we arn't even really finished with the writing of the new material. it's fun, i totally love what we're doing now. it's alot of fun, and hell, its really fulfilling. go in for jamming, come out with a sense of accomplishment. that's one of my favourite feelings. well, such is life.

I feel rather visual today because life is such, and such is my life. So i will show everyone my new stuff.

my dad had some grant from MOE i think, so he used the money to get me a mac. Such is life!
Gonna use it for Big Ear Records. Gonna get a presonus fp10 to work it with Cubase studio 4.
The mac's pretty cool by itself though, its so sleek and neat. just one screen infront of you.
i bought it at the wrong time tho, im running Mac OS X. But Leapord just came out. Well, such is life.
The system's pretty stable and fast, I already dumped all my music and videos on this thing, and there is still so much hard disk space left. I have a whooping 2GB worth of RAM. that's quite alot. such is life.
the keyboard's so slim it could fit into someone's cleavage.
and the applications are superb! i already recorded a couple of new ideas using Garage Band. Its super handy. Easy to use, and not that bad for software that comes free with every iLife mac.
So yes, i'm pretty happy with this thing.

I recently "inherited" an old Roland spirit 30 bass amp. I use it as a preamp with my crate gfx65. Weird ass combination with definitely not the best amps for the sound i want but phuck man, i feel lucky and i feel pretty good about how my tone sounds now. i was impressed at the creamy tones i could squeeze out of that spicy combination with a couple of turns on the dials. It finally dawned on me, how i finally have my "own rig" and my "own amps" hahahahahah
they arn't much at all but its still something!
